Pre-Planning And Prepping for Weight Loss Success

Meal planning and preparation are keys to success when you're trying to lose weight and eat healthy. I have created a routine to ensure that I always have healthy food in my refrigerator and pantry. Here is how I do it.

During the week I am thinking about what I'd like and looking at recipes. My goal is to have 3 or 4 by Thursday. I select a few recipes and these go onto the shelf I have designated in my pantry as my shopping list shelf. My shopping list shelf is stocked with paper, pens and the local store ad flyers. I scan each recipe and since I'm in my pantry already, I look around to see what ingredients I need from the store. I write down what ingredients I need from each store and also look through the store ad flyer to see what's on sale. Then depending on my schedule needs, Thursday, Friday or Saturday I shop and prepare my foods.

Here you see everything out, produce washed, recipes and pen out ready to make any notes on the recipes as I am prepping. Healthy kitchen
