12 ounce salmon fillet, cut into 2 pieces
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
Cut lemon into slices. Set aside.
Season salmon with salt and pepper. Place salmon, skin side down, on a non-stick baking sheet or in a pyrex glass baking dish. Bake until salmon is cooked through to 125 degrees about 12 to 15 minutes.
