Healthy Lifestyle Achieved! 

I want to congratulate Dianna on her health transformation. She has worked so hard, earned amazing results in 5 months, and I’m proud to see how far she has come. It has been wonderful to work with her and I must say, I am honored that she chose me to come on this journey with her. 

Her story is so inspiring that I want to share it to motivate others who are just starting out with their own lifestyle changes. 

I asked my client Dianna, a 48 year old working mother, to answer a few questions to highlight her experience and success with my program. 

What made you decide it was time to take action and transform your health?

During these last few years, I realized that my nutrition and fitness levels were not in the best shape. With so much time indoors from the pandemic and working from home, my activity level had declined significantly. I began noticing a lack of energy throughout the day and I was gaining some additional weight. I knew that I wanted to make a positive change to my lifestyle to reverse these negative choices that I had been making.

Why did you choose to work with me specifically?

I started researching nutrition and fitness programs and realized the significant amount of misinformation all over the place. It was challenging to decipher what was true or false. I was very particular about finding someone to work with who was accredited and would help me learn science and proven strategies for an improved diet and exercise program. I also needed someone that I could connect with and trust throughout my transformation. You are one of the true experts in the Sammamish/Issaquah area with a holistic program. After we spoke on the phone about your approach, I just knew that you were my perfect match. I love working with smart women and I was 100% confident that you’d help me learn and grow.

Along the way, I’ve been so happy working with you – your professionalism, encouragement, and enthusiasm has been instrumental. You’ve been the greatest gift that I could give to myself. I really appreciate your balance of being firm yet nurturing whenever I need it. It allows me to have accountability without the burden of judgment to help me keep going.

What were you feeling before starting the program?

I was feeling confused and overwhelmed about where to start my journey for a healthier lifestyle. I knew that I wanted to have more energy to live a fuller life.

How did you feel during the program?

I love this program. It was a lot of information to take in at first. But there’s huge payoff in immersing yourself in all the research and methods to truly implement these changes into your daily life. It’s really a program that allows you to personalize and customize to your individual health journey. It’s not a one-size fits all method. I’ve learned so much about simple ways to make it sustainable for me. I enjoy my workouts and am thrilled about the results that I’ve seen so far. I’ve gained so much strength and am proud of the muscle definition. I feel so confident that I’m making healthier daily choices in what I eat and how I move throughout the day.   

What was your biggest challenge, and how did you overcome it?

My biggest challenge was and continues to be how to make all this feel “normal” as a way of life and not an extra thing that I have to manage in my already busy life. In the beginning, I had to be really diligent about writing things down, scheduling my exercises on my calendar, and establishing a solid routine that feels easy. 

How do you feel now?

I feel so optimistic about my long-term health and well-being. I have a great amount of confidence and energy to tackle my hard days. I feel so much stronger, and my clothes feel great again! 

What is one piece of advice you would give to someone who wants to achieve what you have achieved?

It starts and ends with a growth mindset. Maria can give you all the facts and right tools to use to help you achieve your goals. She will be your biggest cheerleader and give you the roadmap. But each person is in the driver seat and in charge of your own destiny. You have to be willing to make the necessary changes in your eating and exercise habits in order to see real progress. And the stronger that you become physically, it also strengthens your mental health which is critical for you to endure any hard days. Listen to what she’s teaching you. She models everything that she teaches. Put in the hard work and no doubt you’ll be able to achieve all of your goals.
